[Photo/tuko.co.ke]National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has laughed off opposition's move to release own 'results' of the August 8 presidential election. On Friday, Opposition leaders said Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka garnered 8,041,726 votes against President Kenyatta’s 7,755, 428 votes, claiming the data was from the IEBC servers. But Duale dismissed the figures, saying NASA was just spreading fake results by claiming to have opened the IEBC servers."How could they generate results and at the same time ask IEBC to open the servers?" he posed. The Majority Leader said the Raila-led coalition was suffering from hangovers after election loss and they were desperate to release results to justify their planned 'swearing in'."Their journey to Canaan aborted so they do not know what to tell their supporters, they just keep lying to them," the Garissa Township MP said.Speaking during a presentation of the results, Siaya Senator James Orengo who spoke on behalf of the principals, said what was in NASA’s hands were 'authentic, unpolluted and unadulterated' results."We want Kenyans to know what happened so that they can make an informed decision, we cannot have an election loser being declared the winner and we just assume and move on. We must confront such impunity, said Orengo at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi.
