Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday night, Duale insisted he was a leader who stands by the truth and that the real sycophants were in the opposition.

"When Boni Khalwale speaks in a reckless manner, when Muthama does the same, when Orengo uses all manner of language to defend ODM and when Onyonka virtually kneels in front of Raila begging for forgiveness, that is not termed as sycophancy but when I stand by the truth, that is sycophancy," he said.

The Garissa Township MP also attacked the opposition of not using the Bomas of Kenya meeting to unite and choose a line-up to face Jubilee administration saying they just use the opportunity to just mention nothing that was of help to Kenyans.

"What we expected in Bomas is the opposition to endorse NASA as their vehicle to the August polls. Kalonzo Musyoka did not say anything to do with NASA in his speech, Wetang'ula as well did not mention anything to do with NASA and Raila Odinga was very comical with the way he mentioned the outfit," he said.

"What the opposition is facing is a serious personality problem, they have replaced ideology with personality," he added.
