Duale criticised them, saying they were jealous of his political progress.

In what seemed to be an indirect 'attack' to Kanu chairman Baringo senator Gideon Moi, Duale said such people should swallow their pride and accept to work with Ruto to flourish their political careers.

"Those people opposed to William Ruto, as a Muslim, I see them as people who are jealous. They are jealous and have nothing to showoff. They are wondering how Ruto made it to where he is now, in his political career,'' he said, Monday.

"And my brother Gideon, the old man who I have married his daughter, General Muhammed, picked your father (Daniel Arap Moi) from a bush, in the 1982 coup. We carried your father, the both of us. So it is your turn to support William Ruto,'' added the Garissa Township MP.

He was speaking during the burial ceremony of the late nominated MP, Mark Too, in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County.
