National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that the Jubilee Party will embark on shuttle diplomacy in a bid to counter National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga’s trip to Europe.
The Garissa lawmaker said that ruling party will target different countries including US, UK, Germany, Russia, China, and Russia in a bid to retain power after Uhuru was declared a president-elect.
The vocal lawmaker accused Raila, a former prime minister, of lying to the foreign powers on the state of affairs in the country.
“Tinga [Raila] has the culture of lying and washing dirty linen in public in foreign capitals,” Duale said, as quoted by The Star.
The lawmaker said that the ruling party will use its embassies in the foreign nation to ensure that it retains power in the next five years.
“We have our foreign mission in Washington DC and in New York. I will make a trip with other leaders to the Congress sub-committee on Africa so the lies he is peddling do not add up,” he said.
On his part, Raila has maintained that he will not relent in the fight to liberate this nation from poor leadership.
