According to the Garisaa Town MP, sycophancy within the opposition party forced him out.

Duale who was speaking during KTN's Checkpoint show on Sunday said that leaders in ODM 'worshiped' party leader Raila Odinga something he could not do.

The vocal legislator asserted that there was no space holding a parallel view with the party leader in ODM saying that is what led to DP Ruto and himself opting out of ODM.

"There is a high level intolerance in ODM, that is why key leaders like i and William Ruto left ODM. I went to another party(URP) and still won the Garissa Town MP seat," he said.

Duale also went on to confirm his earlier allegations that Odinga was a beneficiary of the ODM-led governments and that the governors paid so as to get free nominations in the party.

"I can assure you that the ODM governors will be given free ticket without nominations to run in 2017 polls," he said.
