The National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has showered NASA leader Raila Odinga with praises.
Speaking on Wednesday, Duale stated that Odinga is a brand in the Kenyan politics and he should not be misused.
Duale has therefore urged Nasa affiliate parties to refrain from piling pressure on ODM after Raila Odinga, entered into apeace deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
During the wednesday parliament session, Duale said that Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya parties have less numbers in both Houses of Parliament compared to ODM.
Due to this, Duale said that the parties therefore shouldn’t feel that they have an inherent right to demand for equal treatment.
The Garissa township lawmaker further suggested that ODM is the biggest shareholder in Nasa, and should not be blackmailed by Wiper, FordKenyaand Amani, which, he says, are not acting in good faith, when demanding to be part of a pact, which Mr Odinga and President Kenyatta entered into on behalf of Kenya’s leading political formations.
“Raila Odinga is a brand; a statesman who has a reputation to protect,” said Mr Duale
