Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has launched an attack on MPs aligned National Super Alliance (NASA) for skipping Presidential address.

The Garissa MP said that their absence from parliament did not affect the business of the house, adding that they have numbers to discuss issues affecting the common mwananchi.

He compared their action to that of an Individual MP who opts to skip parliamentary sittings when they is expected to represent their people.

“Their boycotting is like the way any member can decide not to attend tomorrow’s sitting. The quorum of the House is 50 member, “he old Capital FM.

The lawmaker also said that the house is facing several challenges because of the lack of a leader of the minority.

“The problem we are facing now under the new House is that we don’t know who the Minority Leaders we should be dealing with are. This is a very confused coalition,” Duale stated
