National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has launched a scathing attack at a section of politicians that has continued to criticize the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

According to Duale, the leaders who have no reason whatsoever to attack the duo for showing interest in uniting Kenyans after the nullification of President Uhuru’s win. 

Duale was speaking during a prize-giving ceremony at Garissa High School on Thursday. 

“Raila came to the president and said he wanted to unite Kenya and leave the opposition. From our position as Jubilee, from the Deputy President to every member, when the president speaks he speaks for us and any decision taken by the president we are abounding to follow,” said Duale. 

Duale also reminded the leaders that Raila and Uhuru decided on their behalf, adding that they should abide by the move reached by the two. 

The handshake between the two leaders has stirred a storm in the National Super Alliance (NASA) and Jubilee. 

The move saw Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula dropped from the position of Senate Minority leader. 

Wetangula and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi have since vowed to unite the Luhya Community ahead of 2022.
