Duale has termed Sonko's remarks as unconstitutional since he is in no position to be an acting president under any circumstances.

The Garissa township lawmaker stated that Sonko was unfit to ascend to the presidency.

Duale was speaking in Kikuyu during the homecoming party of Kikuyu Mp Kimani Ichungwa.

Sonko uttered this remarks during the funeral service of Wavinya Ndeti's husband in Kathiani last Friday.

The Nairobi Senator claimed that he had been sent by the president to read his speech on his behalf and demanded to be accorded the respect that would be accorded President Uhuru Kenyatta if he were there.

This prompted Cord leaders Raila Odinga,Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula to leave the service prematurely.
