The leader of the majority in the national assembly, Aden Duale, Wednesday reminded any party seeking a coalition with the Jubilee government that William Ruto is still the Jubilee preferred presidential candidate.
Mr. Duale was speaking during a parliamentary motion meant to endorse the pact between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
Speaking during the motion, the Garissa Township member of parliament used the opportunity to declare to the small affiliates parties and those willing to join the Jubilee party that William Ruto Remains their preferred presidential candidate.
He warned them that Jubilee party would not whatsoever change its plans to have Ruto succeed Uhuru Kenyatta in the next general election.
"We have no space for any group that wants to vie for 2022. We have a succession roadmap.Our candidate is already known, Mr. Duale confirmed.
The vocal member of parliament further welcomed any opposition political party for a coalition but once again reminded that the ruling party will still front the deputy president as their 2022 elections flag bearer.
