National Assembly Majority Leader Adan Duale has told off Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua over her calls for reforms in government.
Duale has termed Karua a 'hardliner' during former President Mwai Kibaki's administration who would hear nothing to do with reforms.
"She should not lecture President Uhuru Kenyatta's government on reform agenda. She was a hardliner during President Kibaki's regime who would not hear anything to do with reforms," said Duale.
Duale who together with Karua had attended a forum convened by the Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) on Tuesday, said it was miraculous that a hardliner like Karua was talking about reforms.
"Indeed miracles do happen that hardliner Karua is nowadays talking of reforms when she would not listen to the opposition on the same when she was in government," added Duale.
Karua had earlier urged Duale and those in government to serve the country competently and embrace reforms.
"Governments do not last forever. They should serve Kenyans competently so that they have better lives as citizens when they leave government," Karua said.
