In the recording, the speaker is heard asking youths not to allow Kamba's to register as voters for the 8th August general election.

"We have dispatched our detectives to establish where the audio was recorded and advise on further action," said NCIC chairman Francis ole Kaparo.

Kaparo noted that no one is above the law and that Duale will be dealt with accordingly should he be found responsible for the audio.

Duale has however dismissed the audio that has been trending which has led to the call for the arrest of the Garissa MP.

The Garissa Town MP denied that the voice was his and demanded confirmation of the venue, who the youths being addressed were and any other evidence.

"In my opinion it is corrupted concocted propaganda," said Duale.
