National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has been warned against continued interference with political activities within the Cord coalition.
Duale who also doubles as Garissa Town MP was quoted by The Star challenging Raila Odinga to hold on to his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula or lose the next general election.
The remarks have triggered sharp criticism from Nyamira County ODM Chairman James Gesami who accused his counterpart of ‘unnecessary’ interference at the same time challenging Duale to ‘mind’ his own business.
“I am tired with this political theatrics from Duale who understands nothing about Cord or even ODM. He is a Jubilee member and I think he should focus more on campaigning for his masters because they will lose to us,” he said.
“His unnecessary interference is not welcome and he should mind his own businesses. I sometimes wonder why he keeps on talking ill of Cord yet he has an uphill task in his own Garissa backyard,” he added.
The opposition coalition has been rocked with inside wrangles with Muysoka and Wetangula threatening to leave should they not be backed by Raila Odinga.
