National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has warned that Jubilee party would not allow ex-Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to intimidate NASA leader Raila Odinga.
For days now, a resurgent Kalonzo has been leading onslaught against Raila, who he accuses of betrayal.
But in a heated debate in parliament on Wednesday, Duale slammed Kalonzo adding that he should forget depending on Raila's support.
"Raila is not a ladder that leaders like Kalonzo wants to use for their selfish gains. The Jubilee party will not allow that," he said in reference to Wiper's attempted coup on ODM in parliament.
He added: "He is s statesman who deserves respect and we cannot allow his co-principals to put him under pressure. They should instead seek support directly from people."
Both Kalonzo and ANC's Musalia Mudavadi have accused Raila of shortchanging them by initiating dialogue with Uhuru.
In a rare show of unity, Raila's ODM party has vowed to support President Uhuru Kenyatta, days after unexpected reconciliation between Jubilee and ODM.
