Duale, also Garissa Town, said that it is illogical for the politicians to listen to the advice of NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Chama Cha Mashinani Leader Isaac Ruto, Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and Amani National Congress (ANC) Leader Musalia Mudavadi in relation to skipping their swearing in ceremony.
The vocal politician also said that the case at the Supreme Court is between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He further said that the lawmakers have no valid reason to skip their swearing in ceremony.
“The case at the Supreme Court is between Raila and the declared President-elect and MPs have nothing to do with it. The MPs are not party to the suit. Failure by NASA MPs to show up will be at their own peril,” he said as quoted by Standard.
The legislator added: “They have their right to boycott but the process will proceed and has you have seen, the positions of speaker and deputy have been advertised and elections will be held with or without NASA in the House.”
