(Photo/nation.co.ke)Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has termed Raila Odinga's swearing-in threat as black-mail to a legitimately elected Jubilee government.Duale argues that Raila and NASA are using swearing-in threat to intimidate President Uhuru Kenyatta's government.Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Friday, the Jubilee lawmaker said that the government is aware of NASA's black-mail tactics and will not fall for them.He said that Raila's threat to swear himself in is not backed by law stating that he will be treated as a criminal if he goes on to swear himself.Duale asked Raila to reason like a statesman and stop issueing threats to a legally elected and constituted government."We closed the election chapter and I don't know why Raila Odinga is taking Kenyans back when he should be on the frontline championing for unity" he said.Duale said that swearing-in is a constitutional activity stating that Raila has no authority or basis on which he can declared himself president.The leader of Majority in the National Assembly asked Raila to calm down and accept that Uhuru Kenyatta is president.The MP hit out at Raila's allies accusing them of giving wrong advise to the former Prime Minister.Duale urged Raila to respect himself and shun acts that could dent his political legacy."We appreciate Raila's role in our democrasy and want to ask him to be wary of his allies who are out to taint his image as a fighter of democrasy ," he said.Duale stated that Jubilee government is keen and willing to reach out to Raila for purposes of uniting the country.Raila maintains that he does not recognize president Uhuru Kenyatta's government and  says he is ready to be sworn-in as president.The former PM says that the people's assembly will swear him in as president on December 12, 2017.Political analysts are warning Raila against swearing himself as president as his action will amount to treason whose punishment is death.
