Jamal is the younger brother to the outspoken politician, and his event was well attended by by high ranking religious and political leaders. 

Deputy President William Ruto was among those who graced the wedding, and respected Islamic traditions by dressing like one of their elderly members. 

The close political ties between DP Ruto and the Garissa Township MP Aden Duale made it possible for the former to attend. 

Mandera Governor Ali Roba was also among those who were present at Nasra’s big day, and was accompanied by Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji among others.
