[Photo: Citizen Digital]National Assembly Majority Leader Adan Duale has said that Nasa is 'up to no good' in the parallel rally it has organized for Tuesday, November 28 at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi.President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto will be sworn into office for their second term the same day at Kasarani stadium."If they are up to any good why can’t they change the day to Wednesday or Thursday? Nairobi police boss has already said that Nasa must follow the Public Order Act. As of yesterday he told us he had no notification of a Nasa function," Duale told Citizen TV on Sunday.Duale asked Nasa to stop the 'resistance shenanigans' and respect the Supreme Court decision that upheld Uhuru's re-election on October 26."As Jubilee we respected Supreme Court’s decision of Sep 1. Now it is the other way round and we expect NASA to comply with Supreme Court ruling of November 20. The president is to be sworn in on Tuesday after 7 days from Supreme Court’s ruling. That is anchored in law. Legitimacy of a presidential election is anchored in the constitution," Duale added. However, Minority Leader John Mbadi speaking at the same time, said that Nasa has already notified the area OCS about its Nasa function at Jacaranda on Tuesday."Our event on Tuesday is to remember those who lost their lives. We have been clear we will not be part of the swearing in on Tuesday. And again why is Jubilee so concerned about our meeting on Tuesday at Jacaranda? We have a right to assemble, and the police should provide security for us." said Mbadi. He called on Jubilee to accept dialogue saying that 'anyone who thinks we should not talk is an enemy'.
