Duale wants the governors to form an economic bloc and chart way forward on socio-economic agenda for the region.
Speaking during Isiolo governor Mohamed Kuti's inauguration on Wednesday, Duale said that it is time for the region to work together for economic prosperity.
Duale said that the region has resources that if capitalized on can change locals economic standards.
"My appeal is to North Eastern governors to come together and share ideas on how to move our region forward in terms of development," he said as quoted by the standard.
Duale said that the region has stagnated in terms of development bacause of disunity among elected leaders.
He asked elected governors in the region to foucs on service delivery and enure a huge chunk of their budget is pumped to development projects.
Duale said that North Eastern locals are yearning for services especially on health, security and provision of clean water.
The Garissa Township MP appealed to elected leaders to work with their respective governors for development.
He warned leaders against wrangling, saying it will only delay realization of development.
Duale exuded confidence that the newly elected governors will deliver on their mandate.
