Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale has mourned the death of veteran politician Kenneth Matiba.
Matiba, 85, died on Sunday evening, April 15, at the Karen Hospital In Nairobi.
While expressing his sorrow following the demise, Duale noted that Matiba was a great leader.
The National Assembly Majority leader added that the deceased played a crucial role in the political development of the second liberation.
"It is with profound grief and sorrow that I have learnt the untimely demise of a great leader Hon. Kenneth Matiba," Duale posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

His body was transferred to the Lee Funeral Home.
