Garrisa Member of Parliament Aden Duale is known by many as a politician.
The MP has walked a long way before joining active politics.
Duale was the founder and coordinator of Livestock Traders & Marketing Society of Kenya in 1977
Later in 1993, he became a Proprietor of Medina Chemicals.
Between 1999 – 2003 the MP was the director of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)
Later in 1993, he became Garissa Provincial Commissioner officer
From 2011 to 2013 he was the member of Departmental Committee on Energy, Communications, and Information
Duale’s profile reveals that his late father was a pastoralist.
He did not believe in education.
Duale’s mother Hawa Kosar was a small-scale businesswoman who moved the family to town and left the father to herd cattle back in the village.
Duale is also married to one wife daughter to former Chief of General Staff Mohamud Mohamed.
The two are blessed with five sons.
He is now the current Garrisa town MP.
