Majority Leader Aden Duale is undoubtedly one of the best politicians the country has ever had from the North Eastern region and specifically Garissa County.
He has dominated the region's politics for the past decade and was also a very influential figure during the election and re-election of the Jubilee administration.
It is still unclear the political seat that Duale will contest in 2022 but one thing is for sure, he will not find it easy.
The vocal MP will have to go past the former National Assembly Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim before he achieves his goal.
Though, the Garissa Town MP defeated Maalim in last year's poll the same is not assured should the duo meet in another contest.
Maalim is working on reviving his political career and is expected to pull some moves which will get Duale off guard.
The Wiper Party Leader also enjoys a huge following in the county which cannot be easily ignored.
Going into 2022, Duale will have to make a calculated move on how to go past Maalim or he will otherwise fail.
