Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has urged elected and nominated MCAs in the county to
closely
work with newly elected governor Ali Bunow Korane in order to propel the county’s development forward.
Addressing supporters in Garissa on Monday, Duale said that MCAs play crucial role in the county’s development agenda and that their contribution is needed to scale up development.
The outgoing National Assembly leader of Majority said that the county will be able to actualize its development goals if there is good working relationship between the county assembly and the executive.

He urged MCAs to fast track key laws and policies that will ensure residents get quality and efficient services.

He said that Garissa people are yearning for services which he said missed in the previous government by outgoing governor Nathif Jama.
Duale also asked residents both local and non-locals to work with their elected leaders for development.
On Monday during his wearing in Governor Korane pledged to work for residents without discrimination.
The Jubilee governor said that he will consul widely with residents and other elected leaders as he makes decisions pertaining to the county’s development agenda.
