Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has laughed off former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s plan to re-brand Wiper party to One Kenya Movement.
Duale says that the country does not need any movement, adding that the Wiper Party leader should join Jubilee for political survival.
Duale argues that Kalonzo’s plan to rebrand is a waste of time stating that he will be better off he works with Jubilee.
Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Saturday, Duale said that Kenyans are tired with movements and political alliances and wants development.
Duale said that Kalonzo will rescue his political career if he works with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“My brother Kalonzo Musyoka should know that the country does need alliances and movements and what he should is work with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government,” he said.
Duale said that movements and alliances will only continue to create divisions in the country.
He asked the Wipe leader to join Jubilee and be part of the team that will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
Last week Kalonzo hinted that Wiper could re-brand to One Kenya Movement.
The former Vice President said that the country needs a serious movement that will liberate the country.
Kalonzo has been endorsed by the Kamba community for the presidency in 2022.
