Over 77 Pastrolist houses (Herriyyo) will be connected to electricity by 12 April, 2018 in Mbalambala, Kuro Village.
This is according to area MP Aden Duale, who was in the area as some houses were connected with electricity on Tuesday.
Duale was accompanied by other government officials including Energy CS Charles Keter.
“We have launched a water supply to the centre, electrified Domah hut at Kuro trading centre and we will build a modern Mosque with fully fledged Madarasa,” posted Duale on his Facebook page.
Energy CS Charles Keter further said the area will be connected with power in the coming few days, which will come as a relief to many locals.
“CS Charles Keter ordered that Kone and Muddy Centre should be electrified within the next 10 days under the Last Mile Connectivity Programme,” he added.
The Last Mile Project forms part of the Government plan to realise growth by connecting electricity to schools, homes, markets and street light.
