The lawmaker has categorically stated that Kenya is being governed by stipulated rules and regulations, and thus allowing such clandestine meeting spearheaded by foreigners to be held in the country would go against the tenets of the constitution.

"Kenya is county which governs by rules of law. We cannot allow people from outside the country to hold a secretive meeting which we do not know its agenda and purposes," Duale said while speaking to a vernacular radio station.

Abdishakur was recently arrested in a dramatic raid at his Mogadishu home that ended with the death of five bodyguards and a driver.

The raid was conducted by Somali intelligence agents.

Police boss told the journalists that the security agents had a warrant to search the politician's home.

According to the government, the politician resisted any attempt to have his home ransacked resulting to an exchange of fire that resulted to the deaths of six people.
