1:59 It is game over. South Africa trounce Kenya 48-5.

1:58 Not an impressive performance from our boys. After a good performance against Canada, they let their guard down and were thoroughly beaten by the defending champions.  South Africa sends a strong message to their opponents that they will be going all out to win the tournament.

1:55: The Blitzboks are now playing like the defending champions they are. A ruck sees Snyman engineer a steal, he finds Afrika who blitzes over the line. Conversion is missed, but South Africa have a tidy lead at the break. South Africa 17-5.

1:48: and not much later, it’s that Senatla again. Afrika, under pressure, being hounded our defence, he finds Senatla who flies across the field and puts South Africa ahead. The conversion is inch-perfect. South Africa 12-5 Kenya.

1:43 Kenya are dominating possession, but all it takes is one slip up and that’s exactly what sees Senatla run half the length of the pitch for his first try of the tournament. A wayward pass from Kenya bounces awkwardly – and straight into Senatla’s hands. Conversion is poop, so scores are level at 5-5.

1:38: Kenya goes for the attack as the match off. A turnover deep inside the South African half, but they don’t manage to make much ground and Kenya are on the charge again. The Blizboks’ defence is scrapping. And then Olouch wrestles his way over the line for the first score of the game. Kenya 5-0 South Africa.

The team is pooled in Group A, with Collins Injera inspiring the Kenya team to win the match.

The Kenya Sevens Rugby team will in the afternoon take on to the field, to face South Africa in their second match of the Dubai Sevens Series.

The Kenyan team won their first match against Canada, downing them 29-15 in the tournament's opener.

They Kenyan boys will be looking to win their second match, before taking on Uganda in their other match later in the day.
