The 15th Regional Meeting (East African Region) of the State Members of African, Carrebean and Pacific- European Union, Joint Parliamentary Association, came to a close on Friday with a promising Post- Cotonou Trade deal, and agreements of close co-operation in Security, Wildlife Management, Energy, Agriculture and Food security issues.

The Speaker of the Senate Kenneth Lusaka was the Chief Guest during the closing ceremony that was also graced by Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso, (Former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Co-President of the Kenyan Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly).

Earlier in the day, the delegates undertook a study tour of the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service - Kephis, to acquaint themselves with Kenya's policies on food security.

The Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi later hosted them at Kenya Wildlife Service's Nairobi Safari Walk, Orphanage and Education.
