At least 25 Trans Nzoia County MCAs have been arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption (EACC) detectives over corruption allegations.
The county legislators were arrested on Monday in Kitale town.
They were driven to Eldoret town under tight security, to face charges in court.
Top officials of the county assembly will also face charges in connection with corruption at the assembly.
"They will be taken to court because investigation are complete," said North Rift EACC coordinator Enock Otiko, as quoted by the Star.
In 2016, 15 staff of the Trans Nzoia County were also charged in court over graft.
Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba had warned employees against engaging in corruption, saying his government will ensure the culprits face justice.
