Most of those who will vie for elective posts in next year's general elections are those who have benefited from corrupt means.

They will use the proceed of corruption to stage colourful campaigns where they will pour money to desperate and poor electorate.

Most of these politicians live beyond their means.They live in posh city houses and drive the latest fuel guzzlers! 

EACC should focus on lifestyle audit while vetting the aspirants.

The national treasury has allocated Sh2.8 billion for the commission in the next financial year 2016/2017 (The standard May 25).

EACC should not relent in the fight against corruption. Most politicians use the excuse of funding expensive campaigns to steal tax payer's money.

Those in political offices are also busy stealing money in readiness for 2017 campaigns instead of focussing on serving their people.

EACC should relieve us from these excesses.
