Former Prime minister Raila Odinga has called upon the residents of Nyacheki to ensure that they vote for Naftali Onkoba in the upcoming Nyacheki ward mini-poll that will be conducted in a day’s time.
According to Raila the residents should enjoy by eating the money given to them by the Jubilee candidate but ensure that they vote for the ODM candidate who will give the residents better leadership that they need in the current times.
Speaking on Monday after landing at Nyacheki Shopping center Raila accused Jubilee of using government resources to campaign in the area above all giving handout but he showed confidence in their candidate.
“We know they always come here with money but am sure the residents know the best candidate that they will vote for come the election date,” he added.
IEBC has scheduled the by-election for October 26 after the area MCA passed away and its expected to be a Cord and Jubilee affair.
