President Uhuru Kenyatta has indicated that he will not hesitate to have those found guilty of economic sabotage put on the hangman's noose.Speaking in Mombasa on Wednesday during the launch of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), Uhuru said the SGR is not his property or his deputy's but it belongs to all 45 million Kenyans."The SGR does not belong to Uhuru or Ruto but to all the 45 million people of Kenya who have paid for the construction of the railway. Let me make it very clear here now, anybody who will be found guilty of sabotaging the economy,  which is a capital offence, I as the President of Kenyawon't hesitate to sign for that person to be hanged," said Uhuru amid cheers.The President's warning comes following reports of vandalism of the SGR at Mariakani area a few days ago.Uhuru also indicated that the first few days of the SGR operations might have challenges which will be addressed as the new system of rail network in more than 100 years, picks momentum.He pleaded with Kenyans to be patient and engage in constructive criticism.
