Speaking at Kisii Cultural hall in Kisii town during a meeting to address ward administrative offices crisis in the sub-county, Agoa asked the governor to roll out a civic education campaign to educate women and people of South Mugirango on devolution and governance.

“Your excellency, we want to know about these two issues; devolution and governance, because we want to be part and parcel of this county’s development,” said Agoa.

She further said that most of the residents and especially women know absolutely nothing about the two functions.

She added that the education, if provided, would be of greater help to the residents of Kisii County and in the development of the county as a whole.

“If we knew much about governance and devolution, it will be easier for us to be involved in different aspects of the county development. It will help people especially women who know nothing about governance,” added Agoa.

Agoa thanked the governor for listening to them as a sub-county, and asked for more inclusion of the area in the entire county’s development.
