Former Nairobi Senatorial candidate lawyer Edwin Sifuna has expressed satisfaction after he was appointed the Secretary-General of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
Sifuna was appointed and unveiled during ODM National Governing Council (NGC) meeting held at Orange House on Friday, replacing Dr Agnes Zani.
Shortly after the appointment, Sifuna thanked party leader Raila Odinga, saying: "Thank you President @RailaOdinga and the @TheODMparty for this immense vote of confidence in me and young people in general. #ODMfirst."
He was later invited to Busia County by Woman Representative Florence Mutua, Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and Nominated MP Geoffrey Osotsi.
He also received congratulatory messages from various party supporters on Twitter as shown below.
