Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has fired a warning to Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, Immigration PS Gordon Kihalangwa and Police IG Joseph Boinnet.
In a tweet on Friday, Sifuna warned the three that the law will eventually catch up with them even though they think they above it at the moment.
Sifuna made the remarks in line with the recent arrest, trial and sentencing of some world leaders like former Brazilian President Lula de Silva who has received a 12 year prison sentence, former South Korea President Park Geun-hye who has been jailed for 24 years for Corruption as well former South Africa President Jacob Zouma who faces charges for corruption.
"From Da Silva to Park to Zuma....power is fleeting. Eventually the Law will catch up with those who presently think they are above it like Matiang'i Boinnet and Kihalangwa," remarked Sifuna.
Ever since lawyer Miguna Miguna was deported to Canada a few weeks ago, Matiang'i, Boinnet and Kihalangwa have been blamed for disregarding Court orders calling for the release of the lawyer as well as facilitating his return to the country.
However, the three have maintained that they have not received any Court orders in regards to the Miguna deportation saga and Kihalangwa further maintained that the ;lawyer cannot be allowed back into the country without proper documentation.
