The officials of the party have said that they recorded a statement with the police in regard to the matter pending investigations.

With less than two weeks to the August General elections, the officials want the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to take an action against the suspects.

"They are using fear to intimidate our supporters and create havoc in the area. This is clearly against the code of conduct as envisioned in the IEBC guidelines," reads part of the complaint signed by EFP Chairman Isaack Abey Hassan.

Governor allegedly cautioned leaders of EFP against interfering with the rally in this part of the nation before the date.

He is said to have dared the leaders and supporters to cause violence during the incident that was characterized by violence before President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto among other leaders arrival.

"We shall be hosting the President and his Deputy William Ruto as Jubilee but we are aware of EFP's plan to attend the rally. I dare them to come, “ he was quoted saying.
