Fifteen Egyptians have been arrested over illegal stay in the country.
The 15 were on Friday charged with being in Kenya illegally and working without work permits.
Ahmed Elsayed, Abdelmohsen Muhamed, Ahmed Ibrahim, and Abdala Maher were arrested hawking kitchen utensils at Makutano area in Imenti North.
Police then escorted them to fetch their passports and businesses permits under the instruction of senior principal magistrate Monica Maroro directed.
However, the court acquitted them after finding that their documents were authentic.
Another 11 were arrested at Kaaga in Imenti North while hawking utensils without permits.
They included Mustafa Mohmoud, Shaban Muhamed, Ahmed Ali, Samir Abdala, Elmadwy Mahmoud, Muhamed Samir, Mohamed Gaber, Sherit Saad, Hassan Ali, Ahmed Muhamoud and Farathat Sabry.
