Thirdway Alliance Kenya presidential candidate, Dr. Ekuru Aukot, has won his battle with the IEBC in court and has confirmed that he will participate in the repeat presidential election.

He has now turned to the opposition leader Raila Odinga, citing that he is just an individual who can’t force things to change in order to favor his bid.

Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Saturday, Aukot said that Kenyans will have to vote even after Raila announced his withdrawal.

“"The fresh election cannot be predicated on the decision of one candidate. If one candidate choses to withdraw, Kenya cannot come to a standstill," He said, as quoted by The Daily Nation.

He added that Raila is not the only reason not to have the fresh election, where he assured Kenyans that elections will be conducted with or without NASA presidential candidate.

Dr.Aukot who had moved to court demanding for his name to be included in the fresh elections described his hope in becoming the 5th president insisted that Kenya needs the change and that he is the only alternative remaining.
