Elburgon Chief Francis Ngacha on Sunday vowed to crack down on illicit alcohol in the area.
The administrator said liquor makers and selling have been fought successfully but they seem to be back in the area again.
"Liquor makers and sellers are making a comeback in the area after efforts to end the illegal business. I will not rest until I wipe out all those involved in the outlawed business meant to break families, increase crimes such as theft. All illegal alcohol dealers will be arrested and prosecuted in the court of law," said Ngacha.
The chief who on Saturday and Sunday lead police officers to make arrests urged locals to venture into other businesses to avoid arrests.
"There so many legal business residents should venture into. I call on locals to ensure the business they are doing is known and legal by the law," added the administrator.
He urged parents not to drink too much and forget their children who will be going back to school next year.
