Bishop Sammy Aranda has been inaugurated as the new ELCK church Nyamira Parish, at a ceremony that was overseen by Archbishop Dr Walter Obare at Nyamira DEB primary school ground on Sunday.
"We have been having having issues with Ogango parish for along time, they come inaugurate their bishops without following the church constitution, but today we have sworn in Bishop Sammy Aranda as the true bishop of the parish," said archbishop Obare.
Obare urged the defectors pastors, referents, deacons, deaconesses and believers to come back and fellowship together as we wait the coming of Jesus Christ his second coming.
"I have forgiven my opposers for delaying my inauguration, for taking us to court, but thank God now here we are, I am the Parish bishop now," said Aranda.
He also urged the believers to support the new elect officials to deliver and minister the word of God to all corners of the world.
The parish also chose Okeri Bernard as the parish secretary and David Mokuyo as the parish Treasury.
