More than 40 elders from Magenche Location, Bomachoge Constituency stormed Kisii County land office on Wednesday urging it to help them solve boundary dispute.
Speaking on Wednesday after presenting their complaints, to the land and boundaries department, the elders’ spokesperson John Omambia said the issue has brought differences between the two clans.
The two clans Bomoseri and Bogisankio have been disagreeing over a boundary.
Omambia accused Kenyenya Sub-County District Officer (DO) for taking sides and colluding with one clan while solving the case.
"We want this matter to be resolved to avoid boundary conflict amongst the two clans who reside in Magenche location,” said Omambia.
He called on land department in the county to intervene and solve the case before it gets out of hand.
The land and borders have been a thorny issue in Kisii County over the past two years since devolution came to be.
