Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town on Tuesday, Seii said they will be working with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to ensure that any politician propagating hate speech is arrested and charged.

"As Kalenjin leaders we won't allow politicians to divide Kenyans like they did in 2007 general election which led to post-election violence that claimed many lives," he said.

"We are working with NCIC to ensure that any politician addressing supporters does not plant the seed of hate speech," he added.

He said any politician who will be found inciting Kenyans will be forwarded to electoral body IEBC for them to be disqualified from vying in 2017 polls.

"We want leaders of integrity and not those who divide Kenyans especially during the electioneering period. We won't just sit and watch the re-occurrence of post-election violence because of a few individuals," he said.
