Eldoret East Police Boss Nelson Taliti has put criminals alleged to be causing problems in the area on notice.
Speaking to Journalists at Eldoret town after attending a county security meeting, Taliti said that criminals will not be given time to cause havoc. He indicated that law enforcers are vigilant and will not hesitate to arrest law breakers.
“It has come to our attention that criminals are causing havoc in some parts of Eldoret East, I tell them that their days are numbered, they either surrender or face the music,” warned Tality.
He noted that crime will never be part of society saying that law agencies are well prepared to weed out criminals in the area so that the area residents can live in peace without any fear. He also called on the area locals to partner with Police officers to help promote law and order saying that their help is highly needed in the fight against crime.
Taliti also urged locals to report any suspicious characters to the authorities for immediate action to be taken. He said that security has been heightened in all buildings and business premises in the area.
Taliti said that armed Police officers will continue to patrol the area to flash out criminals and their sympathisers.
