A man in Eldoret has threatened to sue Kapseret MP Oscar Sudy after he allegedly assaulted him in a club in Eldoret Town over a woman last weekend.
Kibet Komen told journalists in Eldoret Town yesterday that he was in the company of a lady friend of his when Sudy attacked him and beat mercilessly claiming that the lady was his wife.
“The MP was having a heated argument with the lady when I decided to intervene. The MP however turned his rage on me and attacked me together with other 15 men that were accompanying him and beat me to unconsciousness,” said Komen.
The MP however when contacted denied the allegations saying that he did not even enter the club as he noted that there were commotions inside going on.
"The man must have picked a fight with someone else and now want to blame it on me because am an MP and I happened to be around when the incident took place,” said Sudy.
Sudy now wants the man to stop tarnishing his name saying that he is a man of integrity and would never involve himself in such a thing.
