Hundreds of Jubilee supporters poured into the streets of Eldoret town to celebrate President Uhuru's win which was upheld by the Supreme following a unanimous decision by the six-bench court led by Judge David Maraga.
Residents followed the court proceedings pensively in entertainment joints in the town.
It was joy and dance for the residents who poured immediately into Uganda Road to celebrate their winning causing a heavy traffic snarl up.
Speaking to the residents, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago accepted the ruling and thanked the residents for supporting Jubilee.
He appealed to NASA supporters to accept the ruling and forge ahead and prepare for the 2022 election.
Governor Mandago noted that the security forces must take charge to ensure no Kenyan loses the life because of one man's ambition.
He chided Raila for refusing to participate in changing the very same laws he is opposing now during the referendum.
