This year's Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show has registered an increasing record number of new exhibitors.
According to the ASK Eldoret branch chairman Ratcliff Nangalama, 25 new exhibitors have confirmed their attendance compared to last year's 11."In total, we have 125 exhibitors who have already confirmed their participation and we expect by next week we could have reached our target of 200 exhibitors," said the Eldoret ASK chairman at the show grounds, Saturday. "We have also an entrance of 169 cattle, 21 pigs and 52 sheep and goats. I want to assure all exhibitors that there will be enough security and also enough water supply," added Nangalama.He also reiterated that the 2018 Eldoret ASK show has a lot of research institutions in Agriculture and Technology."I call upon both small and large-scale farmers from this region to come out in large numbers and learn new Agriculture technology that will help them increase their crop and milk production," said the ASK Eldoret branch chairman.The Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show is expected to open its doors to the public from 7th to 10th March."7th March will be a farmer’s day, 8th March business showcase, 9th will be an official opening day while 10th March will be a family day," noted Nangalama.The theme for this year's Eldoret ASK show is 'promoting innovation in Agriculture and trade.
