All is set for this year's Eldoret National Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show.
The annual three-day event is scheduled to begin on Wednesday to Saturday.
Eldoret ASK branch chairman Ratcliff Nangalama says preparations are complete and they are ready to open its doors to allow farmers to benefit from the show.
Speaking at the show grounds on Monday, Nangalama said over 130 exhibitors have confirmed participation, 11 of who are from neighbouring Tanzania and two from Uganda.
"We also have exhibitors from at least 11 counties in this region," he added.
Nangalama noted that the show is aimed at educating local farmers on the latest technologies that if embraced would help enhance the agriculture sector in the region termed at the country's grain basket.
The ASK chairman said the event had attracted many research institutions especially those dealing in crop disease and resistance.
He expressed confidence that farmers will turn up in large numbers and benefit fully from the show that is expected to be officially opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday.
