Police in Eldoret have impounded ivory worth Sh3 million.Speaking to the press, Eldoret West OCPD Samuel Mutunga said, three people in possession of 30kg of ivory were arrested at Eastleigh Estate in the outskirts of Eldoret town. '"We got  credible information  from the public suspecting a certain vehicle to be carrying illegal goods. That is when we sent our officers and arrested them," he said, Tuesday.The OCPD reiterated, the three suspect were at Eldoret West police station and would be arraigned in court, Wednesday.Mutunga called on law enforcers and police to work together in the fight against poaching.[Eldoret West OCPD Samuel Mutunga.
