Businessmen in Eldoret town have urged NASA and Jubilee parties to resolve contentious issues before the fresh presidential polls.

They said their businesses were being affected due to political temperature in the country.

"I call upon the two presidential candidates to amicably solve their issues without name calling and chest thumbing. As businessmen we are really suffering," said Stanley Too Destiny restaurant manager.

"This political uncertainty caused by the upcoming presidential election is scaring away investors leading to poor economic growth. I have lost over 50 percent of my customers," added Joseph Wainaina, Queens Gardens restaurant CEO.

They, however, urged politicians to refrain from using utterances that could trigger violence.

"When the political temperature is high as business we suffer slot since customers are reluctant to use our facilities in fear of post poll violence," noted Stanley Too, Destiny Restaurant manager.

"I call upon Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdi Hassan to  hasten security in the county amid October 17th election for normalcy to prevail," said Wainaina.
