Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Richard Ton’gi has called Gusii residents to ensure that they elect leaders who can spearhead development and stop voting for parties.
Speaking at Boronyi area on Wednesday, the MP called upon the residents to ensure that they are not manipulated by politicians implicated in corruption during the campaigns ahead of next year’s general elections.
“I know most of them will be here campaigning and it’s high time you know the leaders who have delivered before you vote for him as your leader,” he added.
He urged all the claries to ensure that they guide their followers to vote for the best leaders who have not been involved in any corruption scandal and who are development oriented.
The legislator also urged the residents to ensure that they vet the leaders and not the parties as most parties will give tickets to people who doesn’t deserve it.
